Welcome to CowboysNeverBow.com, a property of Project Safe Harbor LLC, based in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This site offers original works of commentary, parody, and satire inspired by themes and characters found in popular television—particularly the series Yellowstone.
What We Do
The products offered on this site are transformative artistic works, protected under U.S. law. Our goal is not to copy, exploit, or confuse, but to critique, comment, and celebrate through satire and emotional resonance.
Specifically:
- We create original visual art in hand-drawn or stylized digital formats.
- We do not copy, trace, or manipulate screenshots, photos, or promotional materials from any copyrighted show.
- We do not use AI to replicate any actor’s facial likeness.
- When names such as “Beth Dutton” or “John Dutton” are used, it is always in the context of satire or commentary—not as endorsement or affiliation.
Fair Use Under U.S. Copyright Law (17 U.S.C. § 107)
U.S. law allows limited use of copyrighted material for specific purposes, including:
- Commentary
- Criticism
- Satire
- Parody
- News reporting
- Educational use
This is known as the fair use doctrine. Courts have repeatedly held that transformative works—those which add new meaning or commentary—are protected by law, even when they reference well-known characters or stories.
Our work qualifies as fair use because it is:
- Transformative – adding new meaning, emotion, or critique
- Non-substitutive – not a replacement for official merchandise
- Minimally referential – using only what is necessary to convey commentary
- Fully labeled – we clearly state we are not affiliated with any network, producer, or brand
